What happened

Agarwood (known as oud in Arabic) is the resinous heartwood formed when Aquilaria trees respond to injury or fungal infection over many years. According to public reports, on 27 October 2026 the Chief Minister's Office of Assam announced that 123 kg of agarwood chips from the state were bound for Dubai.
